The Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care Program is designed to prepare formal caregivers by fostering a comprehensive understanding and comfort in discussing all facets of dying, death, and the multitude of issues across various domains such as disease management, physical, psychological, social, spiritual aspects, end-of-life care, death management, and coping with loss and grief. This programme equips learners with the knowledge and strategies to positively alter the illness experience of those facing life-threatening conditions. Enrollees will not only grasp the diverse roles and responsibilities of team members within a palliative care setting but will also appreciate the critical importance of effective communication and teamwork in enhancing the support provided to individuals and their families navigating the journey of progressive illness.
