The Empathy Effect Workshop uses practical tools for better patient care and health outcomes. In healthcare, people’s ideas and feelings about others can lead to judgment, stigma, and harmful bias—especially affecting vulnerable populations. As healthcare professionals, you share a responsibility to provide the best care for every patient. Through specific communication techniques, you can mitigate biases and enhance patient experiences. This fast paced and highly interactive workshop combines self reflection and practical skill building. Topics include fostering equity through patient centeredness, enhancing empathy and trust building, creating a respectful, trauma informed workplace, and reconnecting with meaning in your work.

Participants attend two 2.5-hour sessions May 5 & 12 (9:30am – 12:00pm)
