ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is searching for a new Executive Director. This dynamic non-profit organization serves seniors and individuals with health challenges in Huron and Perth Counties, offering essential services such as personal support, homemaking, transportation, and social programs.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will oversee complex operations, implement healthcare services, and ensure alignment with ONE CARE’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding and motivating staff and volunteers.
  • Developing policies to enhance financial performance and risk management.
  • Building strong community and healthcare partnerships.
  • Advocating for policies that support community well-being.
  • Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, and 5-7 years of leadership experience in home care and community support services. They should also have:

  • Strong understanding of Ministry of Health guidelines.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Success in supporting a volunteer board.
  • Experience with budget management and non-profit operations.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism.
