Voices of Aging: Navigating Mental Health, Care, and Connection
Aging brings unique mental health and well-being challenges, from memory loss and loneliness to difficulties navigating care. Cultural differences and systemic barriers can make accessing support even more complex.
The Voices of Aging animated video series from CAMH’s Provincial System Support Program highlights these realities through the stories of Mei, Gung Gung (Grandpa), Leszek, and Rosemary. Their experiences, though fictionalized, reflect the real struggles many older adults face—and the resilience, connection, and support that can make a difference.
This series is a valuable resource for older adults, caregivers, and service providers supporting mental health in later life.
