05mar1:00 pm3:00 pmLearning Series: Unlearning Anti-Black Racism For Pediatric Health

Event Details

Hosted by the Black Health Education Collaborative.

Tailored for pediatric health care system leaders, professionals, and staff, this Ontario Health–funded initiative is designed to build the competencies needed to better serve diverse Black children and youth across Ontario. Through community-informed learning and practical tools, participants will strengthen their capacity to address anti-Black racism and advance more equitable pediatric care.

Through the Black Health Primer course and facilitated workshops, participants will leave with tools and resources for implementing anti-racist practice to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care and improve service integration and performance – ultimately leading to better health outcomes for young Black patients in Ontario.

Register for FREE access to the self-paced, online Black Health Primer course for Ontario’s pediatric healthcare workforce (savings of $350). Anchored in critical race theory, the Black Health Primer supports the “unlearning” of anti-Black racism to create responsive health care professionals who are guided by anti-racist practices. The course offers solutions to address health inequities.
