Join the Black Health Education Collaborative (BHEC) in partnership with TAIBU Community Health Centre for an enlightening Learning Series on Anti-Black Racism in Pediatric Health. This series, funded by Ontario Health, is designed to delve into the impacts of anti-Black racism within pediatric health and equip participants with the necessary resources to reflect and adopt best practices for advancing Black health.

- Format: Three asynchronous webinars followed by a synchronous Knowledge Exchange session

- Webinars: Weekly releases from April 15 to April 29, 2024 (Approx. 1.5 hours each)
- Knowledge Exchange: May 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET
About the Series
Led by esteemed facilitators Dr. OmiSoore Dryden, Prof. Sume Ndumbe-Eyoh, Dr. Onye Nnorom, and Dr. Samra Sahlu, this learning series offers a comprehensive exploration of power dynamics, privilege, critical race theory, and the profound effects of anti-Black racism within pediatric health and healthcare systems.

This series is crucial for pediatric care staff, healthcare providers, and health system leaders across Ontario who are committed to addressing and understanding anti-Black racism.
