The 2025 Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism (EIDA-R) Education Campaign from the Huron Perth & Area Ontario Health Team (HPA-OHT) is your chance to lead the charge in building a more inclusive, equitable healthcare system. This year-long initiative equips your team with tools to address systemic racism, cultural safety, and health disparities—aligning with your organization’s mission to serve everyone better.
What’s happening:
The campaign runs January–December 2025 and is structured into 5 education modules that can be at accessed any time throughout the year:
- EIDA-R Foundations (Jan–Feb): Understand core principles and set the vision.
- Culturally Competent Care (Mar–Apr): Build skills for culturally sensitive service.
- Systemic Racism & Health Disparities (Apr–Jun): Learn to tackle inequities.
- 2SLGBTQIA+ & Gender Diversity (Jul–Aug): Promote inclusive care practices.
- Indigenous Cultural Awareness (Sep–Oct): Strengthen cultural safety for Indigenous communities.
- Outcomes & Celebration (Nov–Dec): Celebrate progress and sustain change.
You can tailor participation to match organizational priorities, skipping or emphasizing certain phases as needed.
Your role:
