These surveys provide a direct channel for staff and board members to share insights, concerns, and innovative ideas, ensuring that diverse voices are heard and valued in decision-making.
By systematically gathering and analyzing this feedback, HPA-OHT can identify strengths to build upon and uncover opportunities for meaningful improvement. Throughout the Accreditation Collaborative (AC) process, Board and Workforce Surveys have now concluded, marking an important milestone for participating organizations. The process involved gathering comprehensive feedback from both board members and staff, providing a foundation for actionable insights.
Notably, the surveys achieved a remarkable response rate: 88% of the 95 Governing Board members participated in the Board Assessment, while 880 individuals—representing 34% of the total workforce—responded to the Global Workforce Surveys. These robust participation rates ensure the collected data truly reflects the perspectives and experiences across the organizations, setting the stage for meaningful analysis and future improvements.
Next Steps
The Huron Perth & Area Ontario Health Team (HPA-OHT) will undertake a thorough analysis of the survey results pertaining to the Accreditation Collaborative (AC). Following this, AC members will review the data and determine targeted action plans to drive organizational improvements. Once available, HPA-OHT will distribute a comprehensive summary of the findings to the membership.
