Why it Matters
Virtual Urgent Care (VUC) is a practical digital tool that supports our Ontario Health Team’s priority of optimizing access to care. By providing a virtual option for urgent health concerns, VUC helps patients access appropriate care more quickly and conveniently, reducing barriers such as travel and uncertainty about where to go.
To support consistent and effective promotion of this service, the Middlesex London Ontario Health Team, the Middlesex London Primary Care Network, and the Thames Valley Family Health Team have updated the Virtual Urgent Care promotional toolkit. The refreshed materials ensure clear, consistent messaging across partners and help strengthen patient awareness of available care options, supporting a more efficient, patient centred healthcare system.
