About the Webinar: The Health System Performance Network (HSPN) invites members of the Huron Perth & Area – Ontario Health Team and other interested professionals to an enlightening session titled ‘Furthering our Understanding of Equity in the Ontario Health System.’ This webinar aims to address critical health equity-related questions as identified by the Ministry of Health, with a particular focus on enhancing the performance and equity of health systems.
Session Highlights: Exploration of Five Key Questions: The session will cover significant queries related to health equity, including methods for measuring health equity in system performance and identifying the data necessary for supporting local, equity-oriented programming. Virtual Care and Chronic Conditions: Discussions will include an examination of disparities in the use of virtual healthcare services and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, through an equity lens.
Data and Analysis: The HSPN utilises diverse data collection and analytical methods to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of health disparities within Ontario’s health settings. Collaborative Insights: This webinar represents a collective effort to understand and articulate the complex issues surrounding health disparities, with the goal of illuminating the landscape of health equity in Ontario.
