Nov 14, 2022 – Ontario, including Huron and Perth, is currently experiencing a very challenging season of respiratory illnesses. “Layer up” this fall and winter, to protect yourself, your loved ones and your community from viruses such as COVID-19, influenza and colds.
The flu (influenza) can lead to serious illness and even death in some sectors of the population. We recommend that you get the flu vaccine annually. Local pharmacies and health care providers offer the flu shot. HPPH also offers limited flu shot clinics for our community.
The COVID-19 pandemic is still here. Whether you’re getting your first vaccine or a booster, it’s important to protect yourself and others. Learn more.
